Permanente Medicine
Project Type: Virtual Event Production
Date: 2020-2022
Location: Virtual
The Challenge
During a global healthcare crisis, the objective was to maintain seamless medical education and board-level governance for Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic. In 2020, virtual platforms were notoriously unreliable and prone to instability, yet technical errors could compromise critical medical discourse.

The Strategy
The strategy centered on rapid-response troubleshooting and fail-safe production. Flavour Events acted as a technical shield, translating complex medical information into stable digital experiences for both physicians and the public in a time when "standard" platforms frequently lagged.
The Execution
High-Pressure Production:
-
Navigating Technical Instability: Maintained a "live-response" posture, providing fast-paced technical intervention during critical streaming situations like Facebook Live town halls.
-
Clinical & Executive Governance: Ensured the Annual Pain Summit and Board Meetings took place without a hitch, coordinating with medical staff to meet professional standards.
-
Atmosphere & Creative Direction: Curated bespoke soundtracks and sourced specialized materials to ensure hybrid touchpoints felt intentional and high-end.
-
Culture & Morale: Produced Annual Holiday and Awards parties and retirement celebrations to combat healthcare burnout, designed as high-joy escapes for the workforce.
The Impact
-
Sustaining Infrastructure: Through nearly two years of continuous support, Flavour Events helped sustain the medical infrastructure of the Mid-Atlantic region. By successfully navigating the technical vulnerabilities of the 2020 digital shift, Kaiser Permanente’s professionals stayed focused on their primary mission: serving their community and saving lives.
